The Milford High School NASP archery team had an extremely successful state competition.  For the first time ever Milford had students and a team finish in the Top 10 at state.

In fact, the high school team was  the state runner-up team, beating out some really large established high school programs.

Milford had several standout archers. Conner Kohout led the team with a 281/300 and placing second in ninth-grade boys, sixth in high school boys, and seventh out of 278 boys overall. Hunter Oborny was right behind him in third for ninth-grade boys, seventh in high school and eighth overall. Bowen Dick-Burkey was third in 12th-grade boys, ninth in high school boys and 10th overall in the boys’ division.

That is the first time we have had anyone finish in the top 10 in any category, Coach Jim Wissenburg said.

In the Middle School Division, Jay Wissenburg was first in seventh-grade boys, third in the middle school division, and 34th in overall boys.
