The 41st annual Bicycle Ride Across Nebraska will pass through Milford and Dorchester on Friday, June 9, as more than 300 riders make their way through a 372-mile trek across the southern half of the state.

Riders will begin Sunday, June 4, in Benkelman in the southwest corner of Nebraska and ride 80 miles to Cambridge, where they will stay the night before continuing to Alma, Red Cloud and Hebron over the following three days.

From Hebron, cyclists will travel 55 miles through Plymouth and DeWitt, stopping in Wilber for the night, then passing through Crete, Milford and Dorchester on their way to Seward.

The final leg of the journey will land them in Ashland on June 10.

Cyclists and support vehicles will be on main roadways throughout the day. Drivers should exercise caution around cyclists, and the communities are invited to welcome riders with signs as cheers as they pass through.
