Arlet Bode and Drew Gremel, both of Portland, Oregon, were married July 9, 2022, at Augustana Lutheran Church in Portland.
The officiant was the Rev. Dr. W.J. Mark Knutson.
The bride’s parents are German and Dalina Bode of Miami, Florida. Her grandfather is German Bode of Havana, Cuba.
The groom’s parents are Doug and Vikki Gremel of Seward. His grandmother is Virginia Hughes of Seward.
The maid of honor was Moraima Noda. Bridesmaids were Julia Cavati Rebecca Friesen and Sarah Habib.
The best man was Ben Gremel. Groomsmen were Joe Gremel, Tom Gremel and Eric Heinicke.
Dinner and dancing followed the ceremony at the Victorian Belle Mansion. The couple honeymooned in Mexico.
Bode graduated from Florida International University in 2019 with a degree in Computer Science.
Gremel graduated from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2013 with a degree in Economics and works as a trading operations associate for Financial Advocates out of Olympia, Washington.
