Milford homeowners are invited to light up their homes for the holiday season for a chance to win awards.
The Milford Chamber of Commerce will host the Holiday Home Decorating Contest.
The contest features categories to encourage decorators to think outside the box.
The snowman award is given to the best display of one or more snowmen.
The best door award is awarded exclusively to businesses and the O Holy Night award is given to the church with the best display.
The holiday spirit award honors the most festive display while the Clark Griswold award is given to the home with the most excessive use of outdoor lighting and decoration.
The judges choice honors the best overall home.
Houses will be judged on Dec. 16. Winners will be awarded $50 in Chamber Bucks.
