Marissa O’Grady and Joe Gremel, both of Lincoln, were married Dec. 10, 2022, at 1316 Jones St. in Omaha. The officiant was the Rev. Scott Bruick.
O’Grady’s parents are Joe and Kim O’Grady of Omaha. Her grandparents are Geraldine Daemon of Ft. Calhoun along with Raymond and Pam Ziebarth of Papillion.
Gremel’s parents are Doug and Vikki Gremel of Seward. His grandmother is Virginia Hughes of Seward.
The matron of honor was Sydney Stier and maid of honor was Courtney Acton. Bridesmaids were Annelise Kruse, Emma Gremel and Arlet Gremel.
The best man was Tom Gremel. Groomsmen were Zach Van Kovering, Spencer Betts, Ben Gremel and Drew Gremel.
Ushers were Ben Halley, Caleb Fails and Nathan Kimley.
Dinner and dancing followed the ceremony. The couple honeymooned in Maui.
O’Grady graduated from the University of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in 2018 with a teaching degree and recently completed her master’s in literacy. She is a reading teacher at Crete Middle School.
Gremel graduated from Iowa State University in 2018 with a degree in supply chain management and is the purchasing manager at Hughes Brothers.
