Randy Ray Erb graduated from Milford High School in 1968 and from Nebraska Vocational Technical College in 1970. He opened Randy’s Studio in Milford in June 1970. Randy and Dee Hunter were married March 21, 1976. Together they had two children, Denée and Matt, of whom he was very proud.

Randy began his career as a photographer at a time when color portraits were becoming popular and outdoor portraiture was in its infancy. He saw the change from film to digital, and he thoroughly enjoyed learning Photoshop techniques. Randy loved meeting new people through the studio and working with long-time clients was a joy and an honor for him. Randy and Dee created portraits throughout their life together.

Randy is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dee; their children and spouses Denée (Paul) Janda and Matt (Morgan Beach) Erb; siblings, Lynn (Gloria) Erb, Jeani (Pete) Karubos, Tom (Margaret) Erb, Gordon Erb; sisters-in-law, Rae (Pat) Hunter-Pirtle, and Kay (David) Hunter-Chester; uncles, Ron (Pam) Erb, Delroy (Alice) Hemsath; nieces and nephews and cousins and friends. Randy was predeceased by his parents and his niece, Stephanie Karubos.

A Celebration of Life was conducted Dec. 30 in Milford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Milford Schools Backpack Program, Lincoln Crossroads Music Festival or First Plymouth Congregational Church Medical Debt Retirement program. Arrangements by Roper and Sons Mortuary.
