Seward United Methodist Church will host a trunk or treat tonight, Oct. 31, from 5-7 p.m. Treats, hot cider, hot chocolate, homemade goodies and yard games are planned.
Mercy City Church will host a trunk or treat at Seward Elementary tonight, Oct. 31, from 6-7:30 p.m.
Trick or Treat at The Rock Lutheran Church, 237 S. Third St., Thursday, Oct. 31, from 6 – 9 p.m.
The Seward Memorial Library will host line dancing classes Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. Jacki Mason will demonstrate new steps as well as dance to some old favorites. Line dancing continues through Nov. 14.
Today is the final day of the 2024 season for the Seward County Historical Society Museum in Goehner. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Programs for adults are planned at the Seward Memorial Library every Friday of the month at 1:30 – 3 p.m. First Friday of the month, Ten Point Pitch. Second Friday, Bingo. Third Friday, crafts. Fourth Friday, puzzles.
Enjoy a crisp fall walk and listen to the leaves crunching under your feet on the trail starting at Plum Creek Garden. As you walk along the trail, enjoy Jory John’s Halloween book, “The Good, the Bad, and the Spooky.” Stop by the Seward Memorial Library through Friday, Nov. 1, to pick up a sheet with instructions.
Fall Décor Days, sponsored by the Friends of Seward Library, runs through Tuesday, Nov. 5, during normal operating hours of the library. If you have any decorations that you would like to donate, drop them by the library. There are a wide variety of knick-knacks, accessories, floral baskets and more for sale as a fundraiser.
