Milford Public Schools teachers were named the “split the pot” winner of the Milford Fun Days parade on Aug. 20. The Milford Chamber of Commerce announced the result on Aug. 24 after a panel of anonymous judges made its decision. The teachers decorated a trailer in a movie theme to coincide with the Fun Days theme, “Stars on Main,” adding to it with their own slogan of “We set the stage for success...Stars in the making at MPS!” The float was complete with a stage, velvet ropes and an old-fashioned movie reel projector.
