The Seward VFW Post 4755 Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest was conducted in early April. Students who studied art at Seward High School had entries that were judged at that time. The first-place entry moves on to the VFW state convention, where it will be judged among other entries in the state. There were 21 entries on the local level and those students that placed in the contest as shown in the picture, are (MIDDLE) Tylan Wohlford of Seward, first place; (LEFT) Adleigh Popple of Seward, second place; and (RIGHT) Art Chair Joan Pearson holding the work of Jena Eberspacher of Beaver Crossing, third place.
