Cast receives Quilt of Valor

Kenneth Cast was presented a Quilt of Valor for his service in the Air National Guard in Beaver Crossing on Dec. 18. The presentation was given by Charlette Zieg and the Quilt Brigade. The Quilt of Valor’s mission is to “cover service members and veterans touched by war with comforting and healing Quilts of Valor.” Cast entered into the Air National Guard in 1965 and served in Texas, Georgia, Michigan and Nebraska from 1965-1971. He and his wife of 54 years, Dolores, have eight children, 35 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
