CITY OF MILFORD OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS PUBLIC HEARING TO EXCEED 1% SEPTEMBER 16, 2014 A special meeting of the Mayor and Council of the City of Milford, Nebraska was held at the Webermeier Community Bldg. in said City on the 16th day of September, 2014 at 5:30 o’clock p.m. for public hearing to allow the budget for fiscal year October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015 to exceed 1%. Present: Mayor Bruha; Council members Fortune, Heckman, Kral; Chief Siebken, Maint. Supt. TeSelle and City Clerk Hoggins. Absent: Council member Baker and Attorney Blevens. Notice of the meeting was given in advance thereof by publishing in the Milford Times; a designated method for giving notice, as required by law. CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Bruha called the meeting to order. Nebraska Open Meetings Act requirement met. PUBLIC HEARING – EXCEED 1%: Mayor Bruha opened the Public Hearing at 5:34 p.m. and declared the purpose was to conduct a public hearing upon the proposal to exceed 1% on the 2014-2015 fiscal budget.
