COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS Board of Commissioner Meetings are held each Tuesday morning in the Seward County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m., except for the first Tuesday of each month, meetings will be held at 8:30 a.m. Board of Equalization meetings are held the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month starting at 8:30 a.m. Notice of each meeting is posted on the Courthouse bulletin board and on the Commissioner’s room door. The agenda for all meetings is kept continually current and is available for public inspection at the County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours. The agenda is held open until one business day prior to the meeting for appearance before the Board. The Board has the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting. Glawatz; Members: Mike Luebbe, Diana Garske, Gene Gausman, Whitney Fleischman; County Clerk: Sherry Schweitzer. Approve minutes of Jun 23, 2015. Becky Paulsen, Weed/Zoning Supt. updated the Commissioners on activities of her office. Bob Dahms and Susan Blomenberg discussed the annual Appreciation Party. Jeff Fleishman, Road Shop Foreman discussed getting bids for a sheep’s foot piece of equipment, which was approved. Approved the Road Dept. Surplus Property Disposal Request. Discussed the Denton Road Paving Project. Discussed the bids received for the Bee Culvert and Paving Project, which were rejected. Discussed IT Service Update. Approved 2 documents for Public Transit. Jonathan Jank, Director of Seward County Economic Development and Jeff Baker, of the City of Milford discussed the organization’s annual report and request for funding for the 2015-2016 Fiscal Year. Barb Liska, 911 Director discussed her budget submission for the Fiscal Year 2015-2016, which was accepted. Garske is absent at 11:30 a.m. The Commissioners reported on their activities the past week. Schweitzer discussed the budget process for Seward County. Adopted the agenda for July 7, 2015.
