David Alan Geary went home to be with his Lord and Savior on March 2, 2021.
Pastor Dave and Karen pastored at Milford Assemblies of God Church for many years. “PD” was loved by all and served the Milford Community with his whole heart. He was known for crossing denominational lines to bring the local pastors together often for fellowship and prayer.
During his time in Milford, Dave was relentlessly involved in serving in the community. In addition to pastoring at Milford Assembly and playing an active role in the Nebraska Assemblies of God district, he served in the Milford Ministerial Association, vacation Bible schools, church camps and as a TeamMates mentor. Dave was also active in Kiwanis, serving as Milford Kiwanis Club president from 2007-2008 and 2010-2011. He was granted the Distinguished Service Award in 2008-2009 as well as 2011-2012.
A celebration of Dave’s life will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 13, with a reception to follow. Visitation with family and close friends will be on Friday night, March 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. Both events will be at Southland City Church located at 17297 Glacier Way, Rosemount, MN 55068.
