On Nov. 27, at about 3:50 p.m., the Seward County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle injury accident on 238th Road, just north of the Interstate 80 exit 382 interchange.
Preliminary investigation on scene revealed a 2014 Toyota Sienna was traveling westbound on the Interstate 80 exit 382 off ramp. The Toyota Sienna failed to yield for oncoming traffic and collided with a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado traveling southbound on 238th Road.
The passenger of the Toyota Sienna sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead on scene. The driver of the Toyota Sienna was transported to Bryan West Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Chevrolet Silverado was treated and released on scene.
The accident is being investigated by the Seward County Sheriff’s Office and Nebraska State Patrol. Milford Fire/Rescue and StarCare Medical Transport assisted on scene.
Identification of the deceased victim will be released at a later date.
