Joe and Christine Bartels of Seward will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary this week.
They were married Aug. 24, 1973, at St John Lutheran Church in Daykin.
Their family includes daughter, Tracy and Dan Miller, Malvern, Iowa; son, Travis and Keri Bartels, Lincoln; daughter, DeAnne and Jeff Hass, Seward; and son, Trent and April Bartels, Seward; and 13 grandchildren.
