National, state and local officials will be elected or re-elected in 2026.
While Seward County Clerk and Election Commissioner Brandy Johnson will be compiling village and other public board positions expiring at the end of 2026 for the ballot, this is the list of offices known as of Dec. 31.
National, state and county offices are partisan races, while the city, school board, village and other entities are nonpartisan races.
Candidates were to begin filing candidacy papers on Jan. 5, so actual candidates will be included in future lists. Some incumbents and new candidates have announced their intention to run for office but could not yet file documents to become official candidates.
