Mary Ann (Stutzman) Hershberger was born Aug. 4, 1932, in Milford, to Harv and Jesse (Schlegel) Stutzman and went to her eternal reward on March 4, 2022.

As a young girl, she attended country school near Friend. Mary Ann accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior at Milford Mennonite Church. Upon her marriage, she attended and became a member of East Fairview Mennonite Church. She was active in Love and Service as well as other responsibilities. Her joy was to see her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren at church services on Sundays.

On April 26, 1952, she was united in marriage to David Hershberger at her parent’s home near Friend. They were married 69 years and 11 months. To this union, four daughters were born, Kendra, Kay, Karen and Karrol.

Mary Ann was a homemaker her entire life and spent her life helping her daughters and grandchildren learn to cook, clean and serve others. She was Grandma GG to her great-grandchildren and absolutely loved when they popped in for a quick hello.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband, David Hershberger, Seward; daughters, Kay (Chris) King, Phoenix, Arizona, Karen (Kirby) Roth, and Karrol (Cid) Beckler, all of Seward; son-in-law, Dwight Roth, Milford; grandchildren, Dina (Nevin) Hershberger, Mindy (Nate) Reil, Molly (Merlin) Miller, Ashton King, Kiann (Brandon) Stutzman, Kerwin (Tiffany) Roth, Katelin (Brandon) Policky, Evie (Brad) Unrau, Aaron (Maggie) Beckler, Jessie (Aaron) Arana; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Gifford; sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Stutzman, Norma Stutzman, Eunice Stutzman, Vira Hershberger, Darlene Hershberger and Phyllis Philson. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Kendra Roth in 1997; brothers, Gerald Stutzman, Harold Stutzman, Walt Stutzman, Leroy Stutzman and Danny Stutzman; sisters, Betty Troyer and Grace Stutzman; brothers-in-law, Milton Troyer, Ray Gifford, Elwin Friesen, Harlan Hershberger, Reaford Hershberger, Roy Hershberger and Dale Philson; and sisters-in-law, Mary Stutzman, Kathryn Friesen and Elizabeth Hershberger.
