Administrative Reports Elementary Principal: Mr. Meyer shared a written report discussing the Down Syndrome Advocates in Action of Nebraska and their visit to the elementary school and the activities that took place the week of December 5-9. Secondary Principal: Mr. Mowinkel reported on activities currently taking place at the junior/senior high and pointed out upcoming activities. Director of Learning: Dr. Kubicek discussed the January 4 teacher inservice and gave an update on the ACT assessment. Superintendent: Mr. Wingard shared the topics discussed at the city council meeting. He discussed the NCSA Legislative Conference he attended. He also discussed setting up a board planning session. He shared that Tony Roth, Craig Shaw, and Ned Pauley were re-elected. Mr. Wingard also shared there is a new NDE data platform called Nebraska Education Profile, which takes the place of the state report card. He included an article from the LJS editorial called Good Record on Schools in Jeopardy. He pointed out upcoming future meetings and NASB trainings. IV.B. Student Enrollment Report Preschool - 33 K-6 - 379 7-8 - 115 9-12 - 221 K-12 Total - 715 IV.C. Track/Football Field Replacement Motion Passed: Motion to approve Carlson West Povondra to solicit bids for the track/football field remodeling project. passed with a motion by Tony Roth and a second by Ned Pauley. NASB State Convention Reports Ned Pauley shared that he attended the session regarding the Gallup Student Poll and asked the administration if the school participates in this poll. V.
