Twenty-seven members of the Milford FFA/Agricultural Education classes recently competed in the Nebraska East Central Regional land judging competition near Eagle on Oct. 8. About 270 students participated from 16 schools.
The day was highlighted for Milford by having several students finish in the top 15, including the first-place overall individual land judge, Christopher Wissenburg. His score, along with scores from 12th place Corbin Roth, 15th place Natalie Nutzman and 29th place Austin Vosta made up Milford’s team score which earned them third place team and a qualifying spot at this year’s State Land Judging contest near Wahoo, on Wednesday, Oct. 22.
The top five teams at state will qualify for the National Land Judging competition in Oklahoma City next April.
