NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Public notice is hereby given by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Milford, Nebraska, that two public hearings will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at the City Hall Office, 402 1st Street, Milford, Nebraska. The purpose of each hearing is to obtain public comment prior to consideration of an amendment to the redevelopment plan of the City of Milford, which amendments shall each include a redevelopment project that will utilize tax increment financing. The property which is the subject of the first public hearing is located at 1100 1st Street and legally described as follows: Commencing at the Southwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, Township 9 North, Range 3 East of the 6th P.M., Seward County, Nebraska; thence East 715 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence North 430 feet; thence East 225 feet; thence South 134 feet; thence East 82 feet; thence South 296 feet to the South line of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section; thence West 307 feet to the point of beginning. The property which is the subject of the second public hearing is located at 507 1st Street and legally described as follows: The West Half (W½) of Lot Two (2), Block Two (2), Original Town of Milford, and that portion of the East line of Lot Three (3), on which one-half of the party wall rests, including one-half of the party wall and that portion of the lot South thereof, East of a line running through the center of the party wall South to the alley, all in Block Two (2), Original Town of Milford, Seward County, Nebraska. All interested parties shall be afforded at such public hearings a reasonable opportunity to express their views regarding the amendments to the redevelopment plan. A map of the redevelopment area and a copy of the cost-benefit analysis for each proposed project shall be maintained at the office of the City Clerk.
