NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received by the Seward County Clerk, until February 13th, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., for a new 2019 Dump Truck. The sealed bids are to be plainly marked “Attention: Seward County Clerk, 2019 Dump Truck”. The sealed bids are to be sent or submitted to the Clerk of Seward County, County Courthouse, 529 Seward Street, PO Box 190, Seward, Nebraska 68434. The Bids will be opened on February 13th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Seward County Courthouse, Commissioners Room, 3rd floor, 529 Seward Street, PO Box 190, Seward, Nebraska, 68434. Copies of the Bid Documents and Specifications are on file and open to public inspection at the following locations: *Seward County Hwy. Supt. Office, 320 S. 14th Street, Seward, NE 68434 *Seward County Missile Base Shop, 3427 Waverly Road, Seward, NE 68434 Proposal must be submitted on the forms furnished with the Bid Documents. Each bidder will be required to submit with his proposal a Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable, without condition, to the County Treasurer of Seward County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of his proposal. Unsuccessful bidders’ bond or check will be returned upon awarding of a contract. The successful bidders’ bond or check will be retained until delivery of the unit to Seward County. In the event the successful bidder refuses to enter into a contract with Seward County or is unable to deliver the equipment agreed to in a contract, said bid bond or check shall be forfeited to Seward County. Under the Bid Proposal, payment shall be made within forty five (45) days after actual date of delivery and receipt of invoice. The Notice to Bidders, Specifications, Bid Bond or Cashiers or Certified Check, Bid Proposal, and Contract Proposal are all considered a part of the Contract. The Seward County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities or technicalities in bidding, and to accept or reject any exceptions to the specification.
