A set of eight swings, with two being handicap accessible, and a We-Go was purchased through fundraising efforts with the Milford Elementary PTO and Kiwanis Club of Milford. The swings and We-Go are accessible for all students and encourage inclusive play. The PTO donated just over $33,000 to playground funds through fundraising efforts over the last seven years. PTO members include Caitlin Burianek, Leslie Frazier, Danae Plessel, Susie Bogus, Sam Kinnett, Dee Erb and Andrea Carter. Kiwanis donated $36,000 through fundraising efforts over the last year through Adult Trivia Night, Seward County Gives and numerous grants. Kiwanis members include Danae Plessel, Larry Heyen, Verlyn Dunlap, Dave Welsch, Deb Welsch and Katie Wergin.
