PROCEEDINGS SPECIAL MEETING PLEASANT DALE BOARD OF TRUSTEES The following is a condensed version of the minutes from the December 23, 2014 Special meeting of the Pleasant Dale Board of Trustees. A complete copy of the minutes is on file with the Village Clerk’s Office and posted at the following three places: the Community Hall, U.S. Post Office, and the American Legion’s bulletin boards. The next regular meeting will be held January 8, 2015. Pleasant Dale Board of Trustees convened on December 23, 2014 at 6:02 pm. Present: Board Members: Mitch Bennett, Jerry McFarland, John Stevens, Leroy Trease. Chair: Linda Olson. Clerk: Christine Neukirch, Treasurer: Lisa Wolf The Chair noted the posting location of the Open Meetings Act, as required by law. Discussion/Action - Changing Insurance Agents and Insurance Provider before the 12/25/2914 Renewal Deadline. Presentation of quote for new Insurance Provider Continental Western. Several deficiencies were found in the current insurance policy. The new policy will provide the Village added scope of coverage. Discussed the value added with the new coverage to compare the total premium of $11079 for the Continental Western policy versus the $9896 for current the EMC policy. Approved motion not renew the policy with EMC and to accept the Continental Western Policy for the Insurance for the Village and Fire Department.
