RETREAT MINUTES BOARD OF EDUCATION MILFORD PUBLIC SCHOOLS A retreat of the Board of Education of Milford Public Schools was convened in open and public session on January 22, 2014, at 5:03 p.m. in the Milford Elementary Music Room, Milford, Nebraska. The roll was called and the following Board members were present or absent: Present: Lindquist, Pauley, Roth, Stahly, Welsch Absent: Shaw (arrived at 5:09 p.m.) Notice of the meeting was given in advance by publication and/or posting in accordance with the Board approved method for giving notice of meetings. Notice of this meeting was given in advance to all members of the Board of Education. All proceedings of the Board of Education, except as may be hereinafter noted, were taken while the convened meeting was open to the attendance of the public. Others in attendance: Kevin Wingard, Superintendent; T.J. Meyer, Elementary Principal; Mark Olson, Curriculum Director; Brandon Mowinkel, Secondary Principal; Cameron Soester, Dean of Students Call meeting to order. The meeting was duly called to order. Announcement of Open Meetings Act Posting. At the beginning of this meeting, Dave Welsch, President, announced and informed the public that a current copy of the Open Meetings Act is posted on the wall of the meeting room and directed the public to its location. Additions to Agenda. None Mr. Wingard facilitated the retreat. The Board discussed student data review, current/future planning and review/updating of priority statements. Motion to Adjourn. President Welsch adjourned the meeting at 8:47 p.m. The next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. DATED this 22nd day of January.
