The Seward County Chamber and Development Partnership announced the appointment of Jordan Diedrich as its new President and Chief Executive Officer.

Diedrich will officially begin serving in the role on Aug. 24, 2026, succeeding Jonathan Jank, who recently concluded more than a decade of leadership with the organization.

Following a comprehensive search process led by the SCCDP Executive Board of Directors, Diedrich was selected for his leadership experience, commitment to community development, and vision for strengthening Seward County’s economy and quality of life.

“We are excited to welcome Jordan to the Seward County Chamber and Development Partnership,” said Megan Kahler, chair of the SCCDP Board of Directors. “Jordan brings a collaborative leadership style, a passion for community building, and a strategic vision that aligns with our mission. We are confident he will continue the strong momentum our organization has built while helping lead Seward County into its next chapter of growth and opportunity.”

Diedrich recently served as executive director of Trusted Community Development (formerly Twin Cities Development), a nonprofit economic development organization serving Western Nebraska. His focus was community growth, workforce and housing development, entrepreneurship, business retention and expansion, and collaborative partnerships. He has worked extensively with chambers of commerce, tourism organizations, school districts, nonprofit organizations, city councils and county boards to advance initiatives that strengthen communities.

As president and CEO, Diedrich will oversee SCCDP’s operations and work closely with community leaders, business partners, elected officials, and stakeholders to continue implementing the Seward County Vision 2035 strategic priorities. SCCDP serves as the steward of Vision 2035 and represents more than 250 public and private sector members dedicated to cultivating a thriving community.

“My family and I are honored to join the Seward County community.” Diedrich said. “We can’t wait to put down roots, get involved, and work alongside the people who care so deeply about this county’s future. I’m excited to build relationships, support local businesses and communities, and help continue the incredible momentum already happening across Seward County.”

The SCCDP earned statewide and national recognition for its work in economic development, business advocacy, housing initiatives, workforce development, and community collaboration. The organization recently achieved 3-Star Accreditation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce—one of only five chambers in Nebraska to receive the distinction—and continues to serve as a model for rural community development.
