Your firm is invited to submit an offer to Owner for construction of a Renovation and Addition to the existing Educational Service Unit #6 located at 210 5th Street, Milford, NE 68405 before 2:00 PM local standard time on May 10, 2018, for the following project: B. Project Description: The approximately 5,346 sf addition is to be constructed of post and beam framing with metal stud infill, exterior gypsum board and masonry veneer construction with EPDM roof membrane. The approximately 6,600 sf renovation includes demolition, new metal stud wall framing, mechanical and electrical systems upgrades. Also included in construction is casework, finishes, doors and hardware, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and all related site work. Alternate for elevator, interior finishes and operable partition are also included. C. A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on April 26th, 2018, at 10:00 AM located at 210 5th Street, Milford, NE 68405. All General Contractors planning to submit a bid are invited to attend. D. Bid Documents for a Stipulated Sum contract may be obtained by download in PDF format from JEO’s website at jeo.com for a nonrefundable fee of $20.00. Paper copies of the Bid Documents are available at the office of JEO Architecture Inc. free of charge upon receipt of a refundable deposit, by cash, in the amount of $150.00 for one set if returned within 21 days of Notice of Award in reusable condition. All other requested sets will be at the expense of the contractor to cover actual printing costs. E. For plans and specifications that are to be shipped 1. Include a non-refundable $15.00 shipping and handling fee for each set of plans and specifications. 2. Submit the fee as a separate check. F. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond of a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. 1. Bid security shall be made payable to Educational Service Unit #6 and will be held by the Owner. In case the bid is accepted and the Bidder neglects or refuses to enter into contract and furnish bond in accordance there with, the bid security will be forfeited. G.
