Seward's Michelle Mueller and Sydney Lorence can officially add HGTV champions to their resumes.
The mother-daughter duo, who competed on Season 5 of HGTV's “Battle on the Beach,” were crowned winners during the show's July 13 season finale. Mueller and Lorence competed against two other teams in the home renovation competition, where contestants transformed South Carolina beach homes in hopes of increasing their value the most.
Throughout the competition, the pair was mentored by longtime television personality Ty Pennington.
More information on their winning season and future plans is set to be featured in upcoming editions of the Seward County Independent.
