Three candidates in primary race for county board seat

Posted

Another Republican has joined the primary race for the District 3 Seward County Commissioner’s seat being vacated by Reagan Hain this year.

Jon Propst filed candidacy papers joining Tyler Dickinson and Kaely Eberspacher in that race.

A second non-incumbent, Colten Roth, also joined the ballot for the Milford School Board, which includes incumbents Dave Welsch and David Dickinson, and non-incumbents Brandon Wergin with three seats available.

Feb. 17 was the filing deadline to file for re-election to county, city and school board posts.

The deadline has passed for incumbents to file for re-election to county, city and school board posts.

Non-incumbents have until March 2.

Villages, educational service units and public power districts grossing annual revenues of less than $40 million, have until June 15 to certify their vacant positions to the county clerk for inclusion in the fall general election.

Village board incumbents have until the general election deadline on July 15 to file for candidacy and so far only Debra Frank of Staplehurst has filed papers. Nonincumbents have until Aug. 3 to file papers.
