The Seward baseball team opened its 2024 season March 18 with a 15-10 win over Norris. Kohlton Loos was 3-3 with three RBIs to lead the Jays, and Brycen Burt and Bostyn Happ had two hits each.
Malcolm baseball scored nine runs in the third inning to put March 18's game against Crete-Milford away. Malcolm won 16-3. Maddox Meyer, Mason Wisnieski, Noah Gonyea and Cole Tiedeman had two hits each for the Clippers, and Carson Frank drove in four runs.
