Daniel Boone Anderson, 28, of Kearney, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, in Grand Island.
He was born April 6, 1993 in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Daniel and Bernice (Ochoa) Anderson. Boone was raised in Milford and received his education from Milford High School, graduating with the class of 2011. He went on to attend the University of Nebraska-Kearney, where he was part of the Loper football team. Boone earned his degree in Business Management in 2016. He had worked at GIX Logistics in Grand Island for the past five years. On Sept. 14, 2019, Boone was united in marriage to Brooke Butterfield at Yanney Park in Kearney.
Boone was a member of New Life Church in Kearney. He enjoyed golfing, singing and playing guitar, fishing and playing video games with friends. Most of all, Boone loved being a dad and husband.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Brooke Anderson of Kearney; daughter, Lennie Anderson of Kearney; parents, Dan and Bernice Anderson of Milford; sister, Becca Anderson and Scott Nickell of Atlanta, Georgia; grandparents, Kenneth and Linda Anderson and Marcelino Ochoa all of Las Vegas; mother-in-law, Dianne Butterfield of Kearney; father-in-law, Riley (Diana) Butterfield of Elizabeth, Colorado; sisters-in-law, Brittanee (Cody) Guenin of Gretna, Baylee Butterfield and Aggie Larsen both of Kearney; grandparents-in-law, Agnes Weller of Littleton, Colorado, and Renee Keener of Aurora, Colorado; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
A memorial service was Oct. 18 at New Life Church in Kearney. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family for future designation. Condolences may be left for the family online at www.osrfh.com.
