Harold John Lohmeier was born Sept. 15, 1938, to John and Leone (Pool) Lohmeier in Pleasant Dale.
He attended Pleasant Dale High School, graduating in 1956. Harold was a lifelong farmer. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening and playing with his dogs and cats. Harold passed away Feb. 29, 2024, in Seward, at the age of 85.
He is survived by his brother, Alden (Deb) Lohmeier of Pleasant Dale; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is proceeded in death by his parents, John and Leone Lohmeier; sister and brother-in-law, June and Lloyd Woebbecke; and sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Lawrence Woebbecke. During the last years of his life, he made many new friends among the caring and friendly staff at Ridgewood Rehab & Care Center.
A private burial was conducted at the Pleasant Dale Cemetery. Arrangements by Volzke Funeral Home.
