NOVEMBER 25, 2025 COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS Board of Commissioner Meetings are held each Tuesday morning in the Seward County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m., except for the first Tuesday of each month when meetings will be held at 8:30 a.m. Notice of each meeting is posted on the Courthouse bulletin board and on the Commissioner’s room door. The agenda for all meetings is kept continually current and is available for public inspection at the County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours. The agenda is held open until one business day prior to the meeting for appearance before the Board. The Board has the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting. Hlady gave an update of her office. Convened as the Board of Commissioners. Approved the minutes of November 18, 2025. Approved Seward County Planning Commission bylaws update. County Clerk, Brandy Johnson gave an update of her office. Alex Kufeldt was introduced as the Veteran of the Month. Commissioners gave reports of their activities. Held Public Hearing for proposed amendments to Zoning regulations. Approved Chair to sign contract with Eagleview for aerial photography. Approved 2 short form plats in Precincts F and O. Approved Seward County Emergency Preparedness Event to receive marketing funds. Discussions were held on the Nebraska Association of County Officials (NACO) Salary Study for Elected Officials; price options for the Vanguard website renewal; current conditional use permits and truck routes for poultry barns; and SouthEast Nebraska Development District (SENDD) interlocal agreement and bylaws.
