ORDINANCE NO. 962 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MILFORD REPEALING CITY CODE § 1-809, AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF. WHEREAS, City Code § 1-809 provides for bidding requirements that do not entirely align with state statute; WHEREAS, the City will adhere to state statutes regarding bidding for various projects as applicable; WHEREAS, retaining City Code § 1-809 in its current form may cause confusion given alternative guidance from state statute, and amending it to restate state statute would be redundant. WHEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MILFORD, SEWARD COUNTY, NEBRASKA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That Milford City Code § 1-809 is hereby repealed in its entirety. Section 2: That all Ordinances and Code provisions or portions of such in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after publication as provided by law, and shall be published in pamphlet form. PASSED AND APPROVED THIS 3RD DAY OF MAY 2022.
