PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE PLEASANT DALE BOARD OF TRUSTEES The following is a condensed version of the minutes from the April 13th 2023 meeting of the Pleasant Dale Board of Trustees. A complete copy of the minutes is on file with the Village Clerk’s Office and posted at the following three places: the Community Hall, U.S. Post Office, and the American Legion’s bulletin boards. The next regular meeting will be held May 11th, 2023. Pleasant Dale Board of Trustees convened on April 13th, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. The Chair noted the posting location of the Open Meetings Act on the East Wall, as required by law. Members Present: Jack Jurgens, Dennis Hill, Leroy Trease, and Leslie Thomas. Members Absent: Jeff Oehm. Also Present: Clerk: Kristi Bridgford. Approval of the 3/9/2023 Regular Meeting Minutes. Motion carried. Commissioner’s Reports Buildings Nothing to report. Fire Nothing to Report. Parks, discussed planting trees, stump removal, consideration for bathroom. Streets, nothing to report. Water/Sewer, Coliform and Nitrate is negative. Sargent Drilling came out to measure and confirm Dimensions for Well Rehab Project. Other Reports Planning and Zoning -Nothing to Report Sheriff’s Report-Emailed to board. Building Inspector /Permits, 2 Active. Unsafe Alley Way between Walnut and Pine, East of Elm-Discussion of solutions to slow traffic down and detour from using alley access as a “main” road. Discussion of speed bumps, reminding the public, and extra traffic patrol. Topkote Streets Proposal- Potential Date of June 1st 2023 for Main, Ash, Pine Streets. Order Rock for Application. Approve Proposal. Motion by Trease. Seconded by Hill. Affirmative Vote. Motion Carried. Rockwall Proposal-spare Parts and replacement. Motion by Trease. Seconded by Jurgens. Affirmative Vote. Motion Carried. Seward County Gives-Ballfield improvements-1st of May will be kick off, there will be scrimmage ball games, and open concessions.
