After 10 years of serving as president and CEO of the Seward County Chamber and Development Partnership (SCCDP), Jonathan Jank has announced he will step down in April. He will be pursuing a new opportunity in the economic development industry.
“It's been my honor and privilege to serve Seward County in chamber of commerce and economic development leadership positions for the past 14 years,” Jank said. “The SCCDP has never been stronger, having a very talented staff, dedicated Board of Directors, and a loyal public and private sector membership base.”
Jank will remain president and CEO through the middle of April to ensure a smooth transition and maintain forward momentum for SCCDP’s current strategic plan. The SCCDP Board will immediately begin the search process for identifying the organization’s next president and CEO.
“Jonathan has been a faithful leader in Seward County for over 14 years,” said Megan Kahler, chairperson of the SCCDP Board of Directors. “We appreciate his service as SCCDP’s first president and CEO and are confident that the solid foundation he built will carry our organization toward fulfilling the Seward County Vision 2035.”
