The Milford Police Department is investigating an incident in which three teens allegedly convinced a sex predator to come to a home in Milford where he was assaulted. The teens are facing charges of assault, terroristic threats and false imprisonment.
The incident was captured on video, which a concerned parent shared with the police Nov. 25.
Dr. Mitch Kubicek, Milford Public Schools superintendent, said law enforcement removed three students from the school Nov. 26.
“The allegations had nothing to do with the school,” Kubicek said Dec. 3. “There was no threat to the students or staff.”
Seward County Attorney Wendy Elston told KLKN TV that the investivation indicates the three told the man he would meet a boy younger than 16 at the house for sexual activities. Once he arrived, the video allegedly shows the boys refusing to let him leave, intimidating him and beating him up.
The man is still unidentified. Elston encouraged him to contact either the Milford Police Department or Seward County Victim Advocate.
Elston had not returned calls to the Times before press time.
