CITY OF MILFORD APRIL 23, 2024 The following is a condensed form of minutes: A complete copy is on file at the Milford City Hall, 402 1st St., Milford, NE, or on the city’s website: milfordne.gov The Mayor and Council met in special session on April 23, 2024, at 6:30 pm. Mayor Kelley called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm. Present: Keib, Freeman, Roth. Absent: DeLong. Nebraska Open Meetings Act requirement met. Webermeier Scholarships: Reviewed the Foundation Terms, Conflict of Interest Policy and approved 3 new scholarships and renewed 7 scholarships. Consider summer part-time employee and set wage: Hired Dominic Rocole as part-time summer maintenance employee at $15.00 per hour. Discuss/Consider options for swimming pool season:Mayor Kelley shared that we are short applications for employment at the swimming pool. At present we have 5 applications, none of which are for management positions. Council member Freeman noted that other communities are experiencing the same problem. We have advertised multiple ways and several different times. It is getting to the point where it may be too late to get certified. Our options are very limited.
