PROCEEDINGS OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE PLEASANT DALE BOARD OF TRUSTEES The following is a condensed version of the minutes from the April 11th 2024 meeting of the Pleasant. Dale Board of Trustees. A complete copy of the minutes is on file with the Village Clerk’s Office and posted at the following three places: the Community Hall, U.S. Post Office, and the American Legion’s bulletin boards The next regular meeting will be held on May 9th, 2024 at 7:00pm. Pleasant Dale Board of Trustees convened on April 11th 2024 at 7:00 p.m. The Chair noted the posting location of the Open Meetings Act on the East Wall, as required by law. Members Present: Jack Jurgens, Dennis Hill, Jeff Oehm, Leroy Trease, and Leslie Thomas Also, Present – Clerk: Kristi Bridgford Approval of the 3/14/2024 Regular Meeting Minutes. Moved by Oehm, seconded by Hill Affirmative Vote: Motion Carried. Commissioner’s Reports Buildings –New ash tray mounted on building. Fire –Nothing to Report Parks – Nothing to Report Streets –Nothing to Report Water/Sewer –Coliform Negative-Nitrates down 5PPM-Manuals sent via email-Gear head issues. Other Reports Planning and Zoning –Met March 21st Reviewing Comp Plan and Reviewing Article 9. Need to declare vacancy. Sheriff’s Report-Emailed to board Building Inspector/Permits –1 active Business (Review, discuss, approve) Ferral Cats-Residents Live Trap, take to humane society-ensure it is not a house cat? Walnut Street House- Send another letter to have camper removed if they are unwilling to follow ordinance copy Village Attorney. Village Restrooms- Collapsed pipe fixed. Ball field back together. Street Cracks-Armor coat Sealing cracks. Waiting for next year. Trees for Park and Baseball Field-get quotes for tree removal and have tree farm make suggestions replacement. Next link-Set up in park with food truck April 19th to spread awareness of services in town. Miller and associates-Last payment approval for well rehab project-Tabled. Recycle bin at Ball Field-discuss options for resident recycling. Lots of use from non-Pleasant Dale residents/zip codes, and Small Lincoln businesses sending cardboard to pleasant dale and filling bin. Options for security or get rid of recycle bins.
