AUGUST 9, 2022 COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OFFICIAL PROCEEDINGS Boards of Commissioner Meetings are held each Tuesday morning in the Seward County Courthouse at 9:00 a.m., except for the first Tuesday of each month when meetings will be held at 8:30 a.m. Notice of each meeting is posted on the Courthouse bulletin board and on the Commissioner’s room door. The agenda for all meetings is kept continually current and is available for public inspection at the County Clerk’s Office during normal business hours. The agenda is held open until one business day prior to the meeting for appearance before the Board. The Board has the right to modify the agenda to include items of an emergency nature only at such public meeting. Approved Tax List Corrections. Hladky gave an update of her office. Convened as the Board of Commissioners. Approved minutes of August 2, 2022. Commissioners gave reports of their activities. Approved July 2022 Fee Reports for Clerk of the District Court and County Clerk. Approved Annual Certification of Program Compliance for Road Dept. Marci Fehlhafer and Sonia Almodovar of CASA gave information about their organization and requested funding for the next fiscal year. Opened bids for utility box for Road Dept. Bid will be awarded next week. Approved request for information for public broadband response, as presented by Jonathan Jank and Jacob Jennings of SCCDP. Approved Letter of Support and Economic Opportunity Program Application in regard to Beck Hybrids Expansion near Goehner, NE. Approved offer from NIRMA for Public Transit vehicle damaged in hailstorm. Discussion was held on American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds and County B Executive Session was held for Litigation. Approved a Temporary Part-Time Equipment Operator position for the Road Dept.
